Creative Discovery Museum

Brion was off work on Tuesday but had a grand jury case that afternoon, so the boys and I met him downtown afterwards and we all went to the Creative Discovery Museum! The last time we went Tye was really tiny and did not get to do a whole lot, my how times have changed! He and Mason had the best time and it was great that there is stuff there for kids of all ages! We started out at the water stations and I think that this was Tye's favorite part if the entire museum!, he loved it!!!

The smocks are kid sized but apparently not Tye sized, needless to say it was a tad bit big on him. He LOVED all of the water!

There is a water station for babies and bigger kids and of course Mason loved spraying the water gun!
There are 2 guns that face each other and mason and Brion had a blast spraying each other!
Mason wanted a smiley face and a lady bug painted on his face...I am by no means an artist but Mason didn't seem to mind!
There is a whole "cave" full of creepy crawly things and Mason really liked looking at all of them, this scorpion was his favorite!
Digging for "dino bones"...why they put this immediately after the water stations, I don't know. The boys had wet sand stuck everywhere but they could have cared less!
Tye liked digging in the sand but I think that he might have liked eating it even better.
It is nearly impossible to get them to look up at the same time!
Brion and the boys under the huge t rex skeleton...they're all looking, hooray!
Mason loves the garage and had a ball painting a filling the car up with gas!
This is the baby play area, but I think that Brion mistook it for the nap area, haha!
Tye could have cared less about all of the toys, he just had fun opening and closing the gate on me...every time he would open it he would crack up laughing!
Brion's favorite part!
Tye liked it too!
They had a Curious George exhibit set up upstairs and the boys had a great time with that too!

Blowing bubbles on the roof!
And of course, the giant bubble on the way out, Mason loved it!
We had a blast with the boys, and after we were done we met up with my parents and brother for a wonderful seafood dinner.
