Mason has really been into Blue's Clue's lately, and a few days ago on the show they made sock puppets. He has been begging to make on and so on Tuesday we finally got around to it. Thanks to Gee we had all of the supplies we needed, and Mason loved getting to have "craft time" with just him and I while Tye was napping. Mason picked out the eyes and nose and I helped him put them on, then he helped me glue the hair and sew the mouth. We gave his sock puppet a tie also so that, according to Mason "he would look handsome for church"! Mason decided that he would name his sock "Mason the Sock Puppet" and has had so much fun playing with it the past few days, it's the simple things in life that make this kid happy. We had so much fun spending time together and it is really neat just getting to talk to my sweet little boy!
