Starting Friday morning and ending Saturday afternoon was our 28 hours with Mason! Since we will be adding another member to our family soon, we thought that it would be fun to spend some quality alone time with our sweet firstborn Mason. Gee and Poppa watched Tye all day Friday and overnight for us while we did ALL kinds of fun stuff with Mason which included a trip to the Dr (just to check on baby), lunch at Macaroni Grill (he was ecstatic that you could draw on the table), all afternoon at Chuck E Cheese (where I totally beat Brion in ski ball), a walk by the river with some ice cream, and an overnight stay in a beautiful hotel suite complete with an indoor pool and room service complements of Poppa!!!
My Dr's apt on Friday went great! Baby Gaige is now 1 lb 1 oz and was kicking around like crazy! Mason loved getting to go with us and see his new little brother for the first time!
Mason and Brion headed down to look at the river after some yummy Cold Stone ice cream!

The river front is a great place for kids to run and play...Mason had a ball!
There is a HUGE set of stairs that he ran up and down about 10 times, oh to have the energy of a three year old!
As soon as we checked into the hotel suite Mason changed into his "swimmin suit" and was begging for us to take him to the pool! This is a picture of him on the huge bed that was in our beautiful room!
We swam for about 2 1/2 hours and then headed up to the room for some tasty supper! Mason loves ordering room service and he thinks it is so cool that we got to eat in the room!
Mason ordered a grilled ham and cheese while Brion and I enjoyed some wonderful steaks! Mason kept wanting to put all of the covers back on our food so he could carry the plates around.
"Cheers" Poppa taught Mason how to toast so of course he wanted to when he saw that he got a "big glass" of OJ!
After we ate dinner and ordered desert, we let Mason snuggle up with us on the couch and watch cartoons until bedtime. On Saturday morning Brion took Mason swimming again before we checked out and headed home.
We had so much fun with Mason and Tye had a great time with Gee and Poppa too!!!

I just love it Jamie! That was so sweet of your parents. You will never forget that time with Mason and I know he won't either. That was such a great idea. I'm so glad you were able to do that.
