When Tye was in the NICU he had a heart condition called SVT which simply means that his heart beat too fast. He was on a very powerful heart medication until he was almost a year old for it and before we gave him his medicine everyday we had to check his heart rate with a stethoscope that the hospital sent home with us to make sure that it was in the "safe range". Tye now loves the stethoscope and has accumulated about 5 toy ones as well that he likes to wear all around the house. He "checks" our heartbeat in our arms, legs, and faces and is so proud of himself afterward! I took a few pictures of him the other day "checking" Gaige's, it was amusing to say the least!
Clearly Tye needs a few lessons in anatomy, but he was sure that this is where Gaige's heartbeat was, haha!
