Apparently, any given Sunday in our family can start out like this...
...and end up like this!
Poor Tye had a rough day! We were at church, and I had just picked up the babies from their bible school classes and we were headed into the auditorium to sit with Brion for a few minutes before I brought Tye and Gaige to the nursery for church services. Mason and Tye were walking in front of me towards the pew where Brion was waiting for them when all of a sudden Tye tripped over his blankie and fell right into the bottom corner of the pew back!!! Brion picked him up and immediately we could see the blood start to trickle down his head, so we ran out of the auditorium (like a bunch of crazy people holding one baby, holding the bleeding head of another, and our 5 year old in tow) we were definitely a sight to behold, Ha! Our pastors wife followed us out and brought Tye a towel and some ice, but we could clearly see that he would need at least a couple of stitches to close up the cut. Our dear friends offered to watch Gaige for the remainder of church and the rest of the afternoon, so we headed off to children's hospital with Tye, and a very concerned Mason. Mace was so worried about Tye and he just couldn't help but cry too, bless him! Tye ended up getting 5 stitches, and a popsicle, and I now have a few more grey hairs! He seems totally oblivious to the fact that he even got hurt and was full speed ahead as soon as we got home, playing with Mason and Gaige, and running around like crazy!
